Bratwurst, Cabanossi, or dry sausage like Mini-Salami, or even fresh
sausage. Snack products, in particular, are very popular giving
an excellent combination of convenience and appearance.
Our fibrous casings are designed to meet the stringent requirements of
today's sausage producer. The unique casings are permeable
membranes that allow for the exchange of moisture, air, and vapor such
as smoke. The elasticity and compression yields strength, size
uniformity, and superior machineability necessary for today's meat and
poultry processing. PFG's Fibrous casings provide technological
advantages for your sausage processing.
Packaging Film Group's plastic casings are made from a multi-layer
polyamide. The main features of the casings are the high moisture
and gas barriers, as well as excellent size control for your product.
